Organic Vines Make Better Wines, Wine Seminar

Featuring Amigo Bob Cantisano/Organic Agricultural Advisor
30 years of organic wine grape advising with some of the best in the world Amigo Bob Cantisano will present the practical and esoteric aspects of producing wine grapes using non toxic organic farming. He advises nearly 50 organic grape growers and wineries in California and Oregon. Amigo's presentation will feature the success stories of many of his clients and how they produce top quality wines using human and environmentally friendly state of the art organic farming. including John Williams from Frog’s Leap.

A Tasting of the wines of Heidi Peterson Barrett

Heidi Barrett is regarded as one of Napa Valley’s foremost winemakers. With great enthusiasm, a love for what she does, and an abundance of experience, Heidi’s instinctive gift of integrating the art and science of winemaking is unparalleled. Since 1988 she has developed an impressive client list of ultra-premium wineries. In addition to her very own wines from La Sirena, she is currently the winemaker for Amuse Bouche, Paradigm, Lamborn, Kenzo Estate, Au Sommet, Vin Perdu, and Fantesca. Past winemaking clients include Screaming Eagle(14 years), Dalla Valle(8 years), Jones Family(12 years), Grace Family(6 years), Vineyard 29(6 years), David Arthur, Barbour Vineyards(15 years), Revana (10 years) and Showket(12 years). A comprehensive tasting of wines from one of the hottest region in winemaking. Patrick Okubo, the youngest ever Master Sommelier and one of only three in Hawaii, will lead this fun and informative tasting.
